Traditional Neurosurgery has acted in anatomical defects caused by tumors, vascular malformations, vascular deterioration, congenital malformations, deterioration of the skeletal system such as spinal failure by herniated discs or instability, and cerebral spinal fluid dynamic failures. Functional Neurosurgery is the subspecialty working at the brain functioning level, correcting its malfunction previously not seen in the anatomical level. Now with the ability to see the function of the brain, even at the molecular level, a novel and elegant Neurosurgery is being developed.
